In particular, this unit will cover the following topics: organisational culture, its definition and implications; company vision; opportunities and challenges for e-leaders in virtual teams, the Campbell Leadership Descriptor, the EFQM Excellence Model, tips to prepare a personal action plan.

At the end of this module, participants will: 

  • know the definition of the matrix management across borders and its challenges; 
  • be able to describe the challenges and tips in system management within an organisation;
  • be able to illustrate the roles and responsibilities of a virtual leader in the context of virtual global leadership;
  • know the self-assessment tools needed by successful leaders, such as the Campbell Leadership Descriptor, the EFQM Excellence Model, to provide support to innovation, flexibility and communication.
